Kobalt Tools 500- Preview

“Last weekend, luck just wasn’t on our side, but I can’t wait to get to Atlanta. It’s a track that I really love racing on and I’ve been fortunate to have success there. There’s just something about the track, with the banking and its layout that makes it really fast. I’ve always thought it was a lot of fun and it really just suits my driving style.”

“I’ve feel very lucky to have the success that I’ve had at Atlanta and I’ve got some really special memories there. There are definitely races that I should have won, but then I’ve won some when I wasn’t necessarily the strongest car. One of my favorite moments there is the year that I won the race and my brother, Terry, won the Championship. It was really cool for both of us to be in Victory Lane with our parents there to celebrate with both of us.”

“Atlanta is one of my favorite tracks. The driver can move around, it’s great racing for the fans because cars can go side by side in the corners and the tires give up fast so the cars are slipping and sliding at 200 miles an hour.”
